Muse Drapes is a small, female-run business founded by Kristen Fernandes. Every piece is designed and made in her studio in Poland. After years of sewing for myself and friends, she began bringing her original designs to life professionally in 2020.

I’ve always loved spas, saunas, and spaces devoted to relaxation and indulgence, yet I never felt particularly elegant in a standard towel wrap. I wanted something beautiful and flattering that stayed comfortably in place, without slipping or constant adjustment. I also imagined a kimono that felt just as natural on a quiet day at home as it did styled with heels for a night out."

Founded from a desire to solve problems that she experienced first hand as a woman, Kristen decided to commit to making loungewear that put the needs and comfort of women at the centre of the design process. She worked hard to refine these everyday, functional pieces and bring them into the world of fashion. We all know that the simplest designs often demand the most thoughtful engineering. Every detail has been meticulously refined to achieve minimal forms that flatter every inch of the female body - without sacrificing any of the functionality.
