KIMONO DRESS IN DARK CHOCOLATE

I’ve always loved the effortless elegance of traditional Japanese kimonos. The beautiful flowing silhouettes, wide sleeves and timeless simplicity make them some of the most graceful garments ever designed. I wanted to bring these qualities into a modern silhouette, creating something that felt just as natural worn at home as it did dressed up for an evening out or at a beautiful resort.

After experimenting with different patterns, proportions and fabrics, I developed my own interpretation of the classic kimono. A design that combines traditional inspiration with a flattering, feminine shape, thoughtful details and the natural beauty of pure linen.

The result is a wonderfully versatile garment that can be worn as a dress, a luxurious robe or a lightweight cover-up. Perfect for slow mornings at home, relaxing spa weekends, sauna evenings, summer holidays or evenings out with your favourite heels.

The adjustable wrap design gently accentuates the waist while allowing the fabric to drape naturally over the body. It is much more secure than most designs with a separate sash at the waist. The wide kimono sleeves feature traditional openings beneath the arms for greater freedom of movement and comfort.

The fabric has a nice weight to it that makes it not see through even when wet. Linen is exceptionally absorbent and quick-drying. Unlike traditional towels, they do not harbour bacteria as easily and stay fresh longer. Linen is naturally breathable, absorbent and quick-drying, keeping you comfortable in both warm and cooler weather.

Model is 168cm tall and wearing a size XS-S.

Optionally you can add on some matching towels! Useful to have one for your feet in the sauna, a small one for washing your face, a large one to lay on the sand, or just a separate one to dry off before putting on the wrap.
